The Accounting Clerk will support and assist the Finance Manager. Must treat all sensitive material with the utmost confidentiality. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for Cash Monitoring, Non-Patient Receivables, and Managed Company activity. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk may be responsible for various other duties in accordance with the Finance Department’s goals and objectives.
Please note: This position is in-person, and does not have remote options available
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
- A high school diploma (required). A certificate in accounting is strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, and/or data entry is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Outlook are required
Cash Monitoring: Review daily banking activity; log, download & distribute specific types of transactions to end users.
Non Patient Receivables:
- Invoice sub-tenants & facilities, post other non-patient receivables (rebates, refunds, etc)
- Maintain related files and logs (both paper and digital)
- Follow up on missing payments or provider time sheets as needed
- Calculation and payment of Florida Sales Tax
- Invoicing of monthly rents, utilities, and quarterly dues
- Receipt, posting, deposit of payments and funds received
- Maintain shareholder files and balances
- Issue purchase orders for asset purchases & maintain related log
- Cross train to support Payroll
- Cross train to back up Accounts Payable and back up other staff tasks
- Assist Manager & CFO with various month-end, year-end, and periodic duties as requested.
